Sharina has worked in the catering industry for several years and was the manager of The Tavi Friar.

When the opportunity arose to take over the business that has been long established in the town she seized her moment and put her stamp on it improving the quality of the food and its product range.

The name Mickeys Plaice derives from two elements combined together to make this great name.

Mickeys was after Sharina’s father who was a wonderful local man whome many loved and admired and is why his name is proudly shown.

Plaice, is a play on words as plaice is obviously a fish but also taken as a place to go or be.

Mickeys Plaice is a wonderful, family friendly and family run place for all your traditional fish and chip needs!
